This Research Use Only / Compliance Statement (the “Statement”) sets out peptriva’s regulatory position, the limitations on the use of our products, and the controls we operate to enforce those limitations. It is a public declaration intended for our customers, suppliers, payment partners, and regulators. It supplements (and does not replace) our Website Terms and Conditions and Waiver Agreement, which are the binding contractual instruments governing your purchase and use of our products.
1. Who We Are
The peptriva Site (https://www.peptriva.com) is operated by Wayne Ventures SEZC, a Cayman Islands company trading as Peptriva (“peptriva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Wayne Ventures SEZC is the seller of record for all transactions.
Peptriva is a supplier of synthetic research peptides for laboratory and in vitro research use. We are not a pharmaceutical manufacturer, a compounding pharmacy, an outsourcing facility, a pharmacy, a medical practice, a healthcare provider, a dispensary, or a clinic.
2. Research Use Only — Definition
All products listed and sold on the Site (each, a “Research Product”) are sold strictly for in vitro research use only (“RUO”) by qualified researchers. “In vitro research use” means use that takes place outside a living organism — for example, work in cell cultures, biochemical assays, analytical chemistry, structural studies, mechanism-of-action studies, or other laboratory investigations that do not involve administration to any human or animal.
Research Products are sold as research-grade chemical reagents. They are intended for laboratory bench-top use under the direction and control of qualified personnel.
3. What Research Products Are Not
Peptriva’s Research Products are not:
- Drugs, prescription drugs, or over-the-counter drugs;
- Compounded drugs, custom-prepared drugs, or pharmacy-prepared preparations;
- Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) intended for human or veterinary administration;
- Dietary supplements, nutritional supplements, vitamins, or food products;
- Cosmetics, personal care products, or topical preparations;
- Medical devices, diagnostic tests, or in vitro diagnostic reagents intended for clinical use;
- Performance-enhancing substances, anti-aging products, or wellness products;
- Veterinary products of any kind.
4. FDA and Other Regulatory Status
Peptriva’s Research Products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or by any comparable foreign regulatory authority for safety, efficacy, purity, or fitness for any human or veterinary use, and they are not approved for any such use.
No claim is made by peptriva that any Research Product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition in any human or animal. The publication on our Site of mechanism-of-action information, references to peer-reviewed scientific literature, or summaries of preclinical research describes published research only. It is not a representation that any Research Product will produce any particular outcome in any human or animal subject.
5. Prohibited Uses
The following uses of Research Products are expressly prohibited and constitute a material breach of our Website Terms and Conditions and Waiver Agreement:
- Administering a Research Product to any human being (including yourself) by any route, including injection, oral ingestion, inhalation, intranasal administration, sublingual administration, topical application, ophthalmic application, or any other in vivo route.
- Administering a Research Product to any animal by any route.
- Using a Research Product as, in, or as part of any drug, dietary supplement, food, cosmetic, medical device, or veterinary product.
- Reselling, repackaging, relabeling, compounding, diluting, reconstituting, or formulating a Research Product for distribution to consumers, patients, or any third party for in vivo use.
- Marketing, advertising, displaying, or otherwise holding out a Research Product as a drug, supplement, treatment, therapy, performance-enhancer, anti-aging product, weight-loss aid, or any other consumer product.
- Importing, possessing, or using a Research Product in any jurisdiction where such activity is unlawful.
If you cannot or will not comply with these limitations, do not order from peptriva.
6. Customer Eligibility and Attestation
To purchase from peptriva you must be:
- At least 21 years of age; and
- A “Qualified Researcher” — meaning an individual, employee, contractor, principal investigator, or authorized purchasing agent of an academic, governmental, commercial, or independent research organization, lab, or research project, acquiring Research Products solely for bona fide laboratory or in vitro research.
Each customer must complete the 21+ and Qualified Researcher attestation before account creation and again at checkout. The attestation includes affirmative agreement to the prohibited-use list in Section 5 and to the Waiver Agreement.
7. Site Conduct and AI Research Assistant Scope
Our Site does not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, or human-use instructions. The peptriva AI Research Assistant is a chemistry-and-handling reference for the research community. It is configured to:
- Answer questions about peptide chemistry, sequence, structure, analytical results, storage, and reconstitution.
- Reference published, peer-reviewed scientific literature for educational and research-context purposes.
- Refuse queries that solicit human-use, dosing, diagnostic, therapeutic, veterinary, brand-comparison, or other out-of-scope information.
Outputs from the Assistant are informational only, are not individualized advice, and must be independently verified by a Qualified Researcher before being relied upon.
8. Quality and Analytical Specifications
Each batch of every Research Product is subject to release testing against published specifications. A Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) is issued for each released batch and is made available to the customer at the time of purchase.
Our standard release tests include, where applicable to the product type, identity by mass spectrometry (MS), purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), counter-ion content, water content, bacterial endotoxin, and PCR-based microbial screening.
Specifications stated on a COA refer only to the specific batch identified and to the analytical methods described. They are not a representation of fitness for any in vivo, clinical, therapeutic, or consumer use.
If a shipped batch fails any of the published COA specifications, we operate the peptriva Out-of-Spec Guarantee: we will replace the affected unit(s) from the next available conforming batch and refund the purchase price of the affected unit(s). The Out-of-Spec Guarantee is described in our Refunds & Replacements Policy and is the exclusive remedy for analytical-specification non-conformance.
9. Supplier Qualification
Peptriva sources synthetic peptides from contract manufacturers we have qualified for synthesis quality, analytical capability, and quality-systems documentation. Our supplier qualification process includes:
- Review of facility quality systems and analytical method documentation;
- Specification alignment against peptriva’s published acceptance criteria;
- Independent verification of release testing for each batch peptriva accepts; and
- Periodic re-qualification.
Where peptriva re-tests an inbound batch through an accredited third-party laboratory, we retain the third-party records as part of the batch file.
10. Shipping, Storage, and Disposal
Research Products ship as lyophilized powder in standard ambient-temperature parcel packaging; lyophilized peptides are stable at room temperature in transit, so no cold-chain shipping is required. Once a shipment is delivered, the customer is responsible for:
- Receiving the shipment promptly and transferring lyophilized or liquid product to refrigerator or freezer storage as specified on the label;
- Storing, transporting, and using the Research Product in accordance with applicable laws (including FDA, DEA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, state, local, and any applicable foreign requirements), institutional policies, and accepted laboratory safety standards;
- Disposing of unused Research Products and laboratory waste in accordance with applicable hazardous-waste regulations.
11. Enforcement
Peptriva enforces RUO compliance through a combination of pre-sale, point-of-sale, and post-sale controls:
- Age and Qualified Researcher attestation, with timestamp and IP logging, at account creation and at checkout;
- Restricted-recipient screening against U.S. and state restricted-party lists;
- Order-level fraud, velocity, and resale-pattern review;
- Site Content controls (RUO disclaimers on every product page, no human-use language, no dosing guidance, no brand comparisons);
- AI Research Assistant scope enforcement (refusal of out-of-scope queries);
- Cancellation, account termination, forfeiture of loyalty rewards, and referral to law enforcement or regulatory authorities for any customer found to have misrepresented researcher status, intended use, or jurisdiction, or to have used Research Products in any prohibited manner.
12. Reporting
If you become aware of any unauthorized resale, repackaging, downstream consumer distribution, or any in vivo use of a peptriva Research Product, please report it to compliance@peptriva.com. Reports may be made anonymously.
13. Changes to This Statement
We may update this Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our products, processes, or applicable law. The current version is always available on the Site, with the “Last updated” date shown above.
